The Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol) is the world's most widely used standard for measuring and managing greenhouse gas emissions from businesses, cities, and value chains. Developed by the World Resources Institute and WBCSD, it defines the Scope 1, 2, and 3 framework for categorizing emissions.
