LEED Project Manager
About the Position
SOCOTEC is a leading global testing, inspection, and certification company with a growing sustainability and green building practice in the United States. The company helps building owners, architects, and developers achieve LEED, WELL, and other green building certifications through energy analysis, commissioning, and sustainability consulting services.
As a LEED Project Manager, you will manage the LEED certification process for commercial, institutional, and residential building projects across the New York metro area and beyond. You will serve as the primary client contact and technical resource throughout the certification process.
Responsibilities
- Manage LEED certification projects from registration through final certification
- Conduct energy modeling and daylight analysis to support LEED credit achievement
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate LEED requirements into design and construction
- Review construction documents and submittals for LEED compliance
- Prepare and submit LEED documentation through LEED Online

- Guiding high-profile commercial and institutional projects through LEED v4.1 certification
- Conducting energy performance analyses to optimize building designs for sustainability
- Advising clients on strategies to achieve LEED Platinum and Gold certifications
- Supporting SOCOTECβs growth in the Northeast US green building market
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- LEED AP BD+C or O+M accreditation required
- 3-5 years of experience managing LEED certification projects
- Experience with energy modeling software (eQUEST, EnergyPlus, or IES VE)
- Strong understanding of green building codes and standards (ASHRAE 90.1, IECC)
