Responsibilities

  • Research and develop low-carbon cement formulations using supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) and novel binders
  • Conduct laboratory testing of mechanical, durability, and environmental properties of new materials
  • Scale up promising formulations from lab to pilot plant production
  • Collaborate with product teams to bring new sustainable products (ECOPact, ECOPlanet) to market

What You’ll Work On

  • Carbon capture and utilization (CCU) technologies for cement production
  • Recycled aggregate concrete and circular construction materials
  • Bio-based and geopolymer binder systems as alternatives to Portland cement

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in materials science, civil engineering, or chemistry - 3+ years of R&D experience in cementitious materials, concrete technology, or construction chemistry - Experience with materials characterization (XRD, SEM, TGA, calorimetry) - Knowledge of cement standards (EN 197, ASTM C150) and concrete mix design - Proficiency in English; French is a strong advantage
