Ecodesign

Ecodesign is the practice of integrating environmental considerations into product design from the earliest stages, aiming to minimise environmental impact across the entire product lifecycle - from raw material extraction through manufacturing, use, and end-of-life. The EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation extends beyond energy-related products to cover nearly all physical goods, setting requirements for durability, repairability, recyclability, and recycled content.
