Energy Efficiency Engineer

As an Energy Efficiency Engineer, you will join the Application Development Center team and work on optimizing energy performance in commercial and industrial HVAC systems. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for engineers who want to make a tangible impact on building decarbonization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct energy audits and assessments of commercial building HVAC systems
- Analyze building energy data to identify efficiency improvement opportunities
- Develop technical specifications for energy-efficient system upgrades
- Support the testing and validation of new energy management products
- Prepare technical reports and customer-facing presentations
What Youβll Work On
- Evaluating the energy savings potential of smart HVAC controls in existing buildings
- Benchmarking building performance data across diverse climate zones
- Supporting the launch of Danfossβs next-generation heat pump solutions
- Contributing to application guides for district heating and cooling systems
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and building energy management
- Familiarity with energy audit methodologies (ISO 50001)
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools
- Good communication skills in English; Danish is a plus
