Field Support Engineer

About the Position

Smappee builds innovative smart energy monitoring devices for homes and businesses, helping people understand and reduce their energy consumption while seamlessly integrating solar panels, EV charging, and battery storage. As Field Support Engineer, you will be the technical expert who installs, troubleshoots, and supports Smappee’s devices in the field, ensuring customers get maximum value from their smart energy systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission Smappee energy monitoring devices at residential and commercial customer sites
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Smappee hardware and software in the field
• Provide technical training and guidance to installers, electricians, and end customers
• Document field findings and provide feedback to the product and engineering teams
• Support the technical helpdesk with escalated customer issues

This role is based in Harelbeke, Belgium, with field work across the region.
