About the Position
Schneider Electric is a global leader in energy management and industrial automation, helping organizations achieve sustainability and efficiency goals. The company’s Green Building practice advises clients on achieving the highest levels of building performance and certification.
As a Green Building Consultant, you will advise commercial real estate clients on achieving LEED, BREEAM, and HQE certifications for new construction and renovation projects. You will conduct energy modeling, recommend efficiency measures, and guide clients through the full certification process.
Responsibilities
- Lead green building certification projects from pre-assessment to final certification
- Perform whole-building energy simulations and daylighting analysis
- Develop sustainability strategies and roadmaps for building portfolios
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors on sustainability requirements
- Prepare certification documentation and manage the submission process
What You’ll Work On
- Advising on net-zero carbon building designs for major European developers
- Integrating smart building technologies with sustainability certification requirements
- Developing internal tools for rapid sustainability pre-assessments
- Training client teams on sustainable building operations and maintenance
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Building Engineering, or Energy Management
- LEED AP or BREEAM Assessor certification
- 3-5 years of experience in green building consulting or energy auditing
- Proficiency with energy modeling software (EnergyPlus, IES VE, or similar)
- Strong client-facing communication skills
