About the Position
Voltus connects distributed energy resources to optimize grid flexibility and fight climate change. Build systems that coordinate thousands of energy assets in real-time.
Responsibilities
- Develop real-time energy dispatch and optimization systems
- Integrate with ISO/RTO market interfaces (PJM, ERCOT, CAISO)
- Build monitoring dashboards for distributed energy resources
- Analyze grid data to improve demand response performance
Requirements
- 3+ years in energy systems or electrical engineering - Understanding of wholesale electricity markets - Experience with real-time systems and APIs - Python/SQL proficiency; Go or Rust a plus
