PPA Origination Manager
About the Position
Encavis is one of the leading independent power producers (IPPs) in Europe, acquiring, financing, and operating solar parks and onshore wind farms across 12 countries. As PPA Origination Manager, you will structure and negotiate long-term power purchase agreements for renewable energy projects from our European pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Structure and negotiate long-term PPAs for individual projects and project portfolios across Europe
- Prepare and coordinate PPA tender processes for pipeline projects
- Work closely with Investment, Project Finance, Legal, and Energy Risk Management teams
- Analyze European electricity market developments and build relationships with industrial off-takers
What You’ll Work On
- Corporate PPAs enabling the green energy transition for major European industrials
- Portfolio optimization strategies across solar and wind assets
- New market entry for PPAs in Southern and Eastern Europe
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in energy trading, energy sales, or procurement, preferably in renewables - Proven track record in evaluating, structuring, and negotiating long-term PPAs or comparable commercial agreements - Deep understanding of European electricity markets, market participants, and regulatory frameworks - Strong numerical and analytical skills - Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
