About the Position

The Digital Farming division develops data-driven tools that help farmers optimize input use, reduce environmental impact, and increase yields.
As a Precision Agriculture Specialist, you will work at the intersection of agronomy and technology, developing and validating precision agriculture solutions that help farmers reduce chemical inputs while maintaining productivity. You will bridge the gap between R&D and field operations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze satellite and drone imagery to develop crop health monitoring algorithms
- Design and conduct field trials to validate precision application technologies
- Collaborate with data scientists on machine learning models for yield prediction
- Support the development of variable-rate application maps for fertilizers and crop protection
- Train agronomists and sales teams on precision agriculture tools and methods
What You’ll Work On
- Developing AI-powered weed detection systems for targeted spraying
- Creating digital soil mapping tools for nutrient management optimization
- Validating carbon sequestration measurement protocols for agricultural soils
- Supporting the integration of weather data into pest and disease forecasting models
Requirements
- Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or Data Science
- 3+ years of experience with precision agriculture technologies
- Hands-on experience with remote sensing, GIS, and drone imagery analysis
- Knowledge of crop science fundamentals and farming operations
- Programming skills in Python or R for data analysis
