About the Position
First Solar leads American manufacturing of thin-film photovoltaic panels. Push the boundaries of CdTe solar cell efficiency in our R&D lab.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on next-generation thin-film PV technologies
- Design and execute experiments to improve cell efficiency
- Analyze material properties using advanced characterization tools
- Publish findings and file patents
Requirements
- PhD in physics, materials science, or electrical engineering - Experience with semiconductor fabrication and characterization - Publication track record in PV or materials science - Familiarity with CdTe or CIGS technologies preferred
