About the Position

As a Wind Farm Operations Engineer, you will ensure the reliable and efficient performance of onshore and offshore wind assets in Germany. You will be part of a team responsible for maximizing energy production while minimizing downtime and operational costs.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor wind farm performance using SCADA and advanced analytics platforms
  • Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities with service providers
  • Analyze turbine performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Manage spare parts inventory and logistics for operational sites
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

What You’ll Work On

  • Implementing predictive maintenance strategies using machine learning models
  • Optimizing energy yield through turbine configuration adjustments
  • Supporting the commissioning of new wind farm projects
  • Developing standard operating procedures for asset management

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in wind farm operations or maintenance
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems and turbine control software
  • Willingness to travel to onshore and offshore sites
  • Valid driving license
