About the Position
Sky Climber Renewables is a leading provider of wind turbine maintenance and repair services across North America. We are seeking entry-level Wind Turbine Technicians to join our Tech One Program - a structured pathway into a high-demand, high-growth career in renewable energy.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines under the supervision of senior technicians
- Follow safety protocols for climbing, rope access, and working at height
- Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of turbine components
- Document maintenance activities and complete service reports
- Support senior technicians on major component replacements and overhauls
What You’ll Work On
As a Wind Turbine Technician at our Lime Springs, Iowa site, you will get hands-on experience maintaining utility-scale wind turbines in one of the windiest regions of the country. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; technical trade certification a plus - Physical ability to climb 80-100 meter turbine towers and work at heights - Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude - Valid driver's license - Willingness to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
