Virtual Power Plant

A virtual power plant (VPP) is a network of decentralized energy resources-such as solar panels, batteries, and controllable loads-coordinated through software to function as a single, flexible power source. VPPs can balance supply and demand, provide grid services, and reduce the need for fossil-fuel peaking plants.
