About the Position
A 12-month fixed-term contract within the Parks Development team supporting delivery of park-related elements of the Council’s Local Nature Recovery Plan.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver key objectives for the role
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and report on progress against targets
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Requirements
- Similar biodiversity officer role experience
- Budget management, project management, and fundraising expertise
- Excellent communication skills
- Community engagement experience, ideally with park user groups
- Ability to work independently and in teams
