As a Junior Energy Consultant, you will help residential and commercial customers optimize their energy usage and transition to cleaner energy solutions. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for graduates passionate about the energy transition.
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on energy efficiency measures and renewable energy options
- Analyze energy consumption data to identify savings opportunities
- Support the rollout of smart home and heat pump programs
- Prepare energy assessment reports and recommendations
- Collaborate with the technology team to improve customer tools and dashboards
What You’ll Work On
- Helping customers understand and reduce their carbon footprint
- Supporting the expansion of Octopus’s heat pump installation program
- Contributing to the development of smart tariff products
- Assisting with data analysis for demand flexibility programs
Requirements
- Degree in Energy, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Interest in the UK energy market and renewable energy technologies
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets
- Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset
- No prior professional experience required
