Depot Lead
About the Position
Beryl is one of the UK’s leading micromobility operators, championing bike and e-scooter sharing to reduce urban congestion, improve air quality, and enhance public health in cities across Britain. As Depot Lead in Leeds, you will manage the day-to-day operations of a busy micromobility depot, ensuring Beryl’s fleet is safe, well-maintained, and optimally distributed across the city.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Leeds depot team, including scheduling, performance, and development
- Oversee fleet maintenance, safety inspections, and repair operations for bikes and e-scooters
- Coordinate redistribution logistics to ensure vehicles are available where riders need them
- Maintain depot health and safety standards and compliance
- Report on depot KPIs and contribute to operational improvement initiatives

Requirements
- Experience in depot, logistics, fleet, or operations management - Strong people leadership and team management skills - Practical mechanical aptitude - experience with bikes or light vehicles an advantage - Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities - Commitment to sustainable transport and active travel
