Finance Country Referent - Indonesia
About the Position
PUR Projet is a global leader in ecosystem restoration, partnering with major international brands to restore ecosystems through agroforestry and sustainable resource management. We work with farming communities across Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia to reverse deforestation, restore biodiversity, and create sustainable livelihoods. As Finance Country Referent for Indonesia, you will manage the financial operations of our growing Indonesian program.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations for PUR Projetβs Indonesia country program
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for conservation and agroforestry projects
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian financial regulations, tax requirements, and donor reporting standards
- Coordinate with the global finance team on consolidation, audit support, and treasury management
- Support project managers with financial planning, monitoring, and analysis
What Youβll Work On
PUR Projetβs Indonesia program works with smallholder farmers and forest communities to restore some of Southeast Asiaβs most biodiverse and carbon-rich ecosystems. Your financial management directly enables this work - ensuring that resources flow efficiently and transparently to the communities and landscapes we are committed to restoring.
This is an on-site role based in Jakarta, with field visits to project sites across Indonesia.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or finance in the NGO, conservation, or development sector - Strong knowledge of Indonesian financial regulations and tax law - Experience with donor reporting and multi-project budget management - Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills - Fluent in Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) and English
