Greenhouse Gas Elimination Specialist
About the Position
Tradewater eliminates potent greenhouse gases that would otherwise enter the atmosphere. Join us in tracking down and destroying refrigerants, halons, and other super-pollutants.
Responsibilities
- Identify and collect obsolete refrigerants and halon fire suppressants
- Manage destruction logistics with certified facilities
- Calculate and verify emissions reduction using UNFCCC methodologies
- Develop carbon credit documentation for verification
Requirements
- 3+ years in environmental science or chemical engineering - Understanding of refrigerant chemistry and GWP values - Experience with carbon credit verification standards - Strong project management skills
