About the Position
Vestas Offshore is expanding its UK service team to support the growing fleet of offshore wind turbines in the North Sea. Based out of Great Yarmouth, you will be part of a team maintaining some of the UK’s largest offshore wind farms, including turbines rated at 9-15 MW.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on Vestas offshore wind turbines
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults using SCADA and CMS data
- Carry out major component replacements including generators, pitch systems, and yaw drives
- Maintain detailed service records and follow Vestas safety protocols at all times
- Work as part of a crew on service operation vessels (SOVs) during offshore campaigns

Requirements
- Technical qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) - GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) and Sea Survival certification - Comfortable working at heights and in offshore marine environments - Valid BOSIET/HUET certification preferred - ENG1 offshore medical certificate or ability to obtain one
