About the Position
BYD is the world’s largest manufacturer of electric vehicles and a pioneer in battery technology. BYD Europe is expanding its presence in the European electric bus market, delivering zero-emission public transport solutions to cities across the continent.
As Electric Bus Fleet Coordinator, you will manage the operational readiness and performance of BYD electric bus fleets deployed with Dutch public transport operators. You will serve as the primary technical liaison between BYD and its transit authority customers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate fleet deployment, maintenance scheduling, and spare parts logistics
- Monitor fleet performance data including energy consumption and battery health
- Liaise with public transport operators to resolve technical issues and optimize routes
- Support the installation and commissioning of depot charging infrastructure
- Prepare fleet performance reports and present findings to customers and management
What You’ll Work On
- Optimizing charging schedules to minimize electricity costs and grid impact
- Supporting the deployment of 200+ electric buses across Dutch cities
- Developing preventive maintenance protocols based on fleet data analytics
- Coordinating with BYD’s engineering team in China on technical improvements
Requirements
- Degree in Transport, Logistics, or Engineering
- 2-4 years of experience in fleet management or public transport operations
- Knowledge of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and battery systems
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage
