About the Position
Orsted is expanding its US offshore wind portfolio. Join our legal team to navigate complex environmental permitting and compliance for major renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage environmental permits (NEPA, ESA, CWA) for offshore wind
- Interface with federal and state regulatory agencies
- Review and negotiate project contracts for environmental compliance
- Advise on emerging environmental regulations and policy
Requirements
- JD and bar admission in at least one US state - 7+ years in environmental law - Experience with NEPA, ESA, and energy project permitting - Knowledge of offshore wind or marine regulations preferred
